When I started Forged Nutrition in March I was in a tough place, lacking motivation and unhappy with where I was physically and mentally. Admitting I needed help was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I wanted to lose weight but mostly I wanted control over my diet. I wanted my everyday eating to be healthy and nutritious but not boring and restrictive. I wanted to be proud of myself and still be able to work hard in the gym.

I also wanted ABS #becauseABS.

Fast forward to October I have been putting in the work with Coach Amy! I am 20 lbs down, the lightest I have been since 2014, and only 5 more lbs to the lightest I have been in ten+ years (pre-kids)! I am proud of everything I have accomplished so far, but because it's not restrictive I am still pumped to keep going. 

My favorite part about Forged Nutrition’s program has to be that it is personal for what works for me. I get to decide what works for me and what doesn't. It has changed me as much mentally as it has physically. I get to check in daily to keep me focused, and I have habits to focus on to hold me accountable. We focus on being a little bit better, but not perfect. I don't have to feel guilty when I have a "baking" day, I just wipe the slate and start over. 

Eating nutritiously has become so much easier, I have fresh veggies or fruit at almost every meal without even thinking about it. I look better, feel better, sleep better, and can even handle more stress. I am more confident in myself at the gym, as a mom, and as a wife. 

If you are struggling and want my advice, put yourself first in this. Taking care of yourself has to come first, but your family will also benefit tremendously.
